Roaming will be really fun if scout looking out of the window while jumping. |

Vera Denjuros wrote:All changes create whine, you cant please everyone, at most you can make sure that the majority is satisfied, and the current whining is nowhere near the incarna standards, so I think they are going to be fine. :)
We are not talking here about ingamemechanics or values of ships, this is about people feeling physically not good while playing. From my view a huge difference.
If there are changes in ingamemechanics, which someone doesn't like, he's still able to play. But this stuff makes this game unplayable for some people and i don't see where this is 'discussionable'.
It's like saying people in wheelchairs should always stay at home, because our world is now 'fancy and modern' and they should 'stop whining'.
Ignorant. |

You know, Id like to hear from someone who is actually epilectic, here.
I am not epileptic, but i do feel bad when i make some jumps fast. And i think it's more about this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motion_sickness#Simulation_sickness than epilepsy.

I really feel offended by the guys stating the people, who say the transition makes them feel bad, are lying. Or that they "should stop play and go to the doctor".
I want CCP to deal with this kind of embarrassing, ignorant comments, since they also care about "religious feelings" here in the board, so that this topic can be discussed withouth 12-year-olds disturbing it.
Thank you in advance.

CCP Sisyphus wrote: It would be helpful if we got feedback about what in particular during the jump sequence is causing the most difficulty
Thx for the answer. For me, i think, it's mainly the pre-jump-switch from the normal controllable "far-away-view" to the "firstperson-view". It seems to be too fast and to flashy for my eyes. And this is just the pretransition for another flashy fps-transition.
Maybe loosing the still fixpoint in the center of the screen (->the ship) is one of the mainproblems. The whole visible world turning around the ship all the time (even in station), and during this jumptransition this "basepattern" is gone. |
